What is Linea?

Linea is an Ethereum layer 2 blockchain developed by Consensys.

Our objective is to build a highly performant, robust, and efficient network that supports the Ethereum community's preferred scalability strategy—rollups—whilst achieving full EVM equivalence. Linea's main features are that it uses the zero knowledge ('zk') rollup method and that it is fully EVM-equivalent.
