At this early stage, we don't have any plans to launch a token.
A benefit of its EVM-equivalence, Linea uses ether (ETH) as its native token, which means you'll need ETH to pay for transactions.
If you're using the Linea testnet, you will need Goerli (testnet) ETH that does not hold any actual value. When you bridge the Goerli ETH to Linea, it will become LineaETH, which has exactly the same functions as ETH does on Ethereum mainnet.
