Claim the LINEA airdrop with LineaScan

To maximize accessibility, you can claim your LINEA token airdrop by interacting directly with the smart contract LineaScan. While the Linea Hub app is likely the simplest option for most of the community, we're committed to decentralization, personal choice, and preventing single points of failure.

The claim window opens at 15:00 UTC on September 10, 2025, and runs until 23:59:59 UTC on December 9, 2025.

Verify the smart contract address

When claiming, do not interact with any smart contract other than the official one. Check that the address matches this one: 0x87bAa1694381aE3eCaE2660d97fe60404080Eb64.

1. Find the smart contract on LineaScan. Go directly to the relevant part of LineaScan by clicking here.

This is the “Write Contract” tab, which enables you to “call” (use) the smart contract's functions.

2. Connect your wallet. Click the “Connect to Web3” button immediately above the contract functions and follow the prompts to connect your wallet. Make sure you connect using the account that is eligible for the airdrop. If you want to connect a multisig wallet, use WalletConnect.

3. Click the claim function, and then “Write” button below it. This calls the claim function with your connected account, prompting the smart contract to transfer the LINEA tokens to your account.

• If the connected account's allocation has been claimed already, you will not be able to claim again and a submitted transaction will fail.
• If the claim has ended, a submitted transaction will fail. The end date is 23:59:59 UTC on December 9, 2025.
• If the connected wallet has no tokens to claim, a submitted transaction will fail.

4. Confirm the transaction in your wallet. Once your transaction is confirmed, the LINEA tokens will be reflected in your wallet. Welcome to the next step in Linea's journey!
