FAQs

How do I check my allocation?

Visit the Linea Hub airdrop page, connect your wallet, and check your eligibility.

See our guide for more information.

Who is eligible?

Early Linea users may be eligible if they participated in the LXP or LXP-L campaigns. To qualify:

  • A minimum of 2,000 LXP was required for holders. Boosts are applied before final eligible LXP amounts are calculated.
  • A minimum of 15,000 LXP-L was required for holders.

In total, 9,361,298,700 LINEA has been allocated, to be shared among 749,662 eligible addresses. Eligibility includes meeting the activity thresholds and not being identified as a sybil account.

What are boosts, and how do they work?

Boosts are a calculation applied to your LXP holdings based on your activity on Linea.

Boosts are available for accounts that:

  • Made a minimum of one transaction on Linea before the EIP-4844 upgrade, between Linea Mainnet launch and March 27, 2024
  • Were active on Linea after LXP Voyages: For those who made at least one contract transaction on Linea Mainnet in six different months between August 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025. The months did not need to be consecutive.
  • Used MetaMask Swaps or Bridging on Linea, MetaMask Staking, or the MetaMask Card anytime before June 30, 2025. A single interaction with any of these unlocked the 10% boost. The boost did not stack: the same 10% is applied whether one or all four were used. Applies to transactions completed any time before block June 30, 2025 and block 20473167.

In cases when an eligible address met the conditions for a boost, it was applied to the LXP balance to calculate final LXP points. Those points determine the final tier, and the tier multiplier shapes final LINEA allocation.

Search for your address on our Dune dashboard to view the boosts that you qualify for.

How were LXP reward tiers structured?

LXP holders are split into seven tiers, with each tier receiving incrementally more LINEA to recognize their increasing participation and contribution. Within each tier, the amount of LINEA you receive scales with how much LXP you hold. For example, someone with 5,500 LXP earns more than someone with 5,300 LXP.

  • Tier 1: 2,000 - 2,999 LXP
  • Tier 2: 3,000 - 3,999 LXP
  • Tier 3: 4,000 - 4,499 LXP
  • Tier 4: 4,500 - 4,999 LXP
  • Tier 5: 5,000 - 6,499 LXP
  • Tier 6: 6,500 - 7,999 LXP
  • Tier 7: 8,000+ LXP

What is LAM?

LAM is a soulbound token that acts as the bridge between LXP and LINEA. It reflects the boosts and tiers received and shows how LXP was multiplied to calculate the amount of LINEA available to claim.

What is the LINEA token address?

The address on Linea Mainnet is 0x1789e0043623282D5DCc7F213d703C6D8BAfBB04.

When is the claim window?

The claim window is a 90-day period from September 10 - 23:59 UTC on December 9.

What happens if I don't claim before the end of the window?

The tokens that you would have otherwise claimed will be returned to the Linea Consortium.

What do I need in order to claim?

  • A self-custody wallet, e.g. MetaMask, with the account that is eligible for LINEA. You cannot claim with any account other than one that is eligible for LINEA tokens.
  • Enough ETH on Linea Mainnet to pay a gas fee for the claim transaction.

Can I claim using a different address?

No. You can only claim funds for an account you own. You cannot nominate another address to receive the funds.

Can I claim with a centralized exchange address?

No. LINEA tokens can only be claimed from the eligible wallet address. They are non-transferable during the claim process.

Are there any fees?

No. The only cost of claiming is the gas fee you'll need to pay to complete the claim transaction.

Are tokens unlocked?

Yes, tokens are fully unlocked once claimed.

I have a question or need support. What should I do?

If you're having issues with the claim process, check that:

  • Eligibility has been confirmed, and the checker shows the wallet qualifies for the airdrop.
  • A self custody wallet is correctly connected.
  • The wallet is on Linea Mainnet.
  • The wallet has Linea ETH so that you can pay gas fees to complete the claim.
  • The browser is compatible. If the app doesn't function as expected, retry on a widely-used browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.

If issues persist, and all above requirements are met, visit the Linea Discord.
